A bit about me
Gabby is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern who graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida. She has experience working with all age groups and especially enjoys working with teens and young adults who are ready to discover who they are.
"My goal is to help you improve yourself in all aspects of life. I use a warm, non-judgmental, empathetic, client-centered, strength-based and Cognitive Behavioral approach. I also like to incorporate humor in therapy when it is appropriate. I collaboratively involve the individual or family throughout the entire therapeutic process. Additionally, I am passionate about working with individuals who are struggling with maladaptive eating behaviors/disordered eating and are willing to try a new and healthy approach to life. I have extensive experience working with various mood disorders such as depression and anxiety as well as stress, low self-esteem, self-harming, difficulties of blended families, trauma, grief, and challenging life transitions.
I believe that building a strong, trusting relationship with my clients will help instill motivation for change, while maintaining a safe and empowering environment that will allow you to grow into the best version of you. You are the expert in your own life and I am along for the ride as your support and guide!"
