Meet Charley Rodich | MS, LCSW
Founder & Clinical Director
Mrs. Charley Rodich is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds Masters degrees in both Child Development and Clinical Social Work. She enjoys working with children, teens and young adults. Mrs. Charley’s ability to empower, connect and build a strong relationship with her clients helps them to overcome personal obstacles and improve their mental health.
She has been working in the mental health community for five years spending time as a therapist at Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Eating Recovery Center of Chicago and The Clarity Clinic. In her roles she received advanced training and learned cutting-edge clinical services, making a positive impact in the lives of clients in outpatient psychiatry clinics, inpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
She practices cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, family therapy, parent management training, exposure-response therapy, and mindfulness. Additionally, she is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) . EMDR offers a non traditional approach to psychotherapy designed to help clients diminish negative feelings while processing traumatic events and can be used on clients of all ages.
Mrs. Charley has experience treating various mental health disorders including such as anxiety, depression, trauma, conduct and behavioral problems, ADHD, adjustment and relational issues, eating disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
She incorporates a strengths-based approach along with a person-in-environment perspective to deliver evidence-based intervention modalities to treat her clients. Combining research findings, empirical knowledge and clinical assessment skills, along with the contextual factors of her client, Mrs. Charley takes a collaborative approach with her clients to develop a treatment plan to best meet their goals. She makes it a priority to create a safe, trusting and non-judgmental environment where her clients can explore emotional difficulties and learn new tools and coping strategies to help manage symptoms.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, volunteering and spending time with her husband and two pups.
Lauren Buroker is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and holds Masters and Specialist in Education degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy. Lauren’s ability to connect with and build strong relationships with her clients helps them to improve their mental health and work through personal and relational struggles.
Her experience includes time at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, Girls Place, and Charlotte Behavioral Health Care. In her roles, she received training working with couples, families, and individuals, and learned various modalities that help her to best serve the clients that she works with on a daily basis.
She practices family therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has used these approaches to treat various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relational issues, and adjustment disorders.
She incorporates a strengths and systems-based approach to deliver evidence-based interventions to treat her clients. Lauren utilizes research, contextual information, and assessment skills, Lauren collaborates with clients to develop goals that best suit their needs. She does her best to learn from clients as much as she hopes they learn from her and assumes that the client is the expert on their own lives.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching hockey or baseball.
